Have you ever heard of decision fatigue? I hadn’t until recently when I read a NY Times article about it. I would encourage you to pause reading this and check it out.
So do you experience it? I know some people who definitely do and by the end of the wedding months, both, I felt it. I would literally just say “I don’t have the capacity to decide that” because I was doing something else I needed to do and just couldn’t even think about it, or fathom the decision.
After reading it, I kind of thought, well duh! But it’s such a change to think about this being a real phenomenon.
I thought the ending about the best decision makers knowing when not to trust themselves was so true!
